Our Admissions

Cochecton Christian Homeschooling is be open to students grades K-12.  For students beginning Kindergarten through 2nd grade, we will need regular involvement from either a parent or a designated tutor for more individualized instruction.  For students entering grades 9-12, we may need to locate additional tutors or resources for specialized subjects.

Thanks to the efforts of our founding families, we are pleased to reduce tuition beginning September, 2022.  Please check back in May for new rates and consider coming to our open house May 21st at 6:30 pm.  Monthly tuition is separate and in addition to the purchase of texts.

In the interest of promoting a Christian education, scholarships due to financial hardships will be considered on an individual basis.  In addition, our homeschooling cooperative may explore and agree to pay for additional enrichment activities, such as field trips or special events.

The growth and success of a homeschooling cooperative rests on parental involvement.  By enrolling your child, you also agree to share in our decision making.  To this end, we will have quarterly organizational meetings.  The purpose of the meetings will be to plan for instruction, enrichment, extra-curricular activities, and to locate additional sources of funding when necessary.  We acquired a not for profit status to facilitate different avenues for funding, such as donations.

To enroll your child, please begin by filling out your and your child's contact information below. By September 1st, you will also be asked to fill out a contract and a health form.  The contract contains our payment and code of conduct agreement.  The purpose of the health form is to alert our association to any allergies, medical conditions, and to provide us with emergency contact information and instructions to follow in your absence.  In order to maintain confidentiality, please only mail or deliver in person the contract and health form.

Lastly, a decision to homeschool your child involves a written notification to your child's public school district and completion of the IHIP (Individual Home Instruction Program) form.  Please join us at the church this summer on the following dates and times to meet, answer questions and get more information.  I look forward to meeting you and your child!
